About Us
Our aim is to address the issues associated with the rural location and semi-isolation of the villages surrounding Mere, including Zeals, Kilmington, Maiden Bradley and West Knoyle.
The original vision came from local clergy who had become increasingly aware, whilst carrying out their local ministry, of a recurring theme of social deprivation related to the rural aspect of this area, and with a district council housing policy which, while carrying out its statutory responsibilities to house those in need, was creating an underclass.
